Have a great idea you'd like to get off the ground?

At SSBC we know that Nottingham is full of  passionate individuals and organisations who are committed to improving outcomes for local children and families.

Our Ideas Fund is an opportunity for you to bid for funding to deliver a project or activity in one or more of our wards: Aspley, Bulwell, Hyson Green & Arboretum, and St Ann's.

You can bid for £1,000 - £6,000.

The money should be used to develop an idea that will benefit families and children (aged 0-3 years old) living in our wards.

Your idea must support SSBC's objectives - helping children to

  • learn to talk and communicate
  • be confident, friendly and understand their emotions & behaviour
  • enjoy eating well and staying healthy.

The 2020 Ideas Fund has been postponed due to COVID-19. We will update this page with more information when it is available. Keep up to date by following us on Facebook and Twitter.

"The Ideas Fund enabled us to create an exciting interactive installation and storytelling performance - called The Coral Garden - for under 5's, which was open to the public in St Ann's Library during the Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity. We also applied for Arts Council England Funding to develop the installation into a bigger project  -  'The Undiscovered island' -  which will be open to the public in May 2020 at Lakeside Arts Wheee! Festival!"
