Being part of The National Lottery Community Fund's A Better Start programme gives us an unique opportunity to change the lives of babies and children for the better. However, making sure our programme is sustainable beyond the ten years of lottery funding is really important to us, and sharing our insights and learning from the programme is vital to providing a body of evidence which will support this ambition.
Along with partner sites in Blackpool, Bradford, Lambeth and Southend-on-Sea, we're working with the National Children's Bureau to share our experiences of what works and what doesn't when it comes to meeting the needs of families in our local communities.
We'd like, therefore, to introduce you to the first edition of our combined newsletter; sharing learning from A Better Start. Each edition will share insights from practitioners, expert partners and parents who are closely involved in delivering A Better Start, from across the five sites. This issue includes 'a call to action on early brain development' from our Programme Director, Karla Capstick.
To sign up to receive further issues (which we'd love you to do), then follow this link and, as if by magic, it will take you to where you need to be.
