SSBC is working closely with our service providers to limit the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the families who access our services.
We're also working to ensure that families are updated on any changes to service delivery including groups, community events and home visiting.
We will frequently update this page with updates about our services.
✅ We're in regular contact with our service partners, including Family Mentor teams, the National Literacy Trust, Coram Childcare and Families Trust, and Ideas Fund projects. Each provider is following advice from their organisation.
✅ We are following the guidance of Nottingham CityCare Partnership (our accountable body) and Public Health England.
✅ We are in regular contact with the National Lottery Community Fund (our funders) and the four other ‘A Better Start’ sites. We are sharing ideas, good practice, and assessing needs for families during and after COVID-19.
✅ The SSBC Partnership Board would like to thank everyone who is working with us at this time. They have issued a statement for our partners and service providers.
Advice for families
✅ If you or your child have any symptoms (a dry, persistent cough and/or a temperature over 37.8°), we ask that you follow UK Government advice by staying at home.
✅ You can check your symptoms on the NHS website.
✅ The Lullaby Trust has issued guidance on caring for your baby at this time.
