Parent Peer Researchers

Do you have what it takes?

We're currently working with the Nottingham Centre for Children, Young People and Families (NCCYPF) at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) on an evaluation of the Small Steps Big Changes programme.

As part of this exciting project, the team at NTU is looking to recruit 5 adults with parenting experience:

  • to develop interview guides,
  • interview parents,
  • analyse parent interview transcripts and
  • help to share evaluation findings through reports and events

No experience in research is required as all training and support will be provided. This is a really great opportunity for parents who are familiar with the areas of Aspley, Bulwell, Arboretum or St Ann's to work on a project and develop new skills.

Unfortunately this role is not suitable for parents who are currently or have previously taken part in the Small Steps at Home programme delivered by Small Steps Big Changes, or be a Small Steps Big Changes Parent Champion or Ambassador.
