Parent Voice Report

Using parent voice to inform services for children and families in Nottingham. Download our Parent Voice Report.

In early 2020, we asked parents (with children aged 0-4) to complete two questionnaires about services for children and families in Nottingham. We wanted to know what parents thought of services, and what changes they would like to see in future.

We asked questions that covered 7 main areas:

  • Breastfeeding
  • Healthy weight
  • Healthy teeth
  • Smoking in pregnancy
  • Communication & language development
  • Social & emotional development (including attachment and bonding)
  • Support for parents

114 parents completed the questionnaires. Between them, they’ve given us some excellent insight into the experience of being a parent in Nottingham, - and some brilliant ideas for how to develop services for the future.

We've published the findings in our Parent Voice Report.

SSBC would like to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to parents and carers who took the time to complete the questionnaires. Thank you for answering our questions honestly and  for talking so openly about your experiences.

We would also like to thank members of partner organisations and workforce who worked with parents to complete the questionnaires.

We couldn't have done it without you!
