Have an idea you'd like to get off the ground?

At SSBC we know that all over the city, brilliant work is taking place because of  passionate and committed individuals and organisations just like you:  People determined to improve outcomes for children!

Our  Ideas Fund is all about making positive changes to the lives of families and children in Hyson Green and Arboretum, Aspley, Bulwell and St Ann's, by tapping into that wealth of creativity and innovation.

The Ideas Fund is an annual application process (usually around May/June) which aims to nurture new ideas with dedicated support and a financial award of between  £1,000 and £6,000. Successful applicants work with SSBC to pilot and test their ideas before evaluating their impact to understand if they have improved outcomes for children.

Got an idea but think it needs a bit of fine tuning?

No problem! Once our application process opens we run sessions to support  potential applicants to develop their ideas.  These are  announced through our facebook or twitter feeds and on this website, so keep checking to find out when applications open and sessions take place.
