Bulwell Bloomers

Bulwell Hall Community Gardens is going to be teeming with tiny gardeners on Saturday mornings! At Bulwell Bloomers, we will learn about wildlife, insects, plants and flowers. We’ll be planting flowers and vegetables, watching them grow, and learning about the lifecycle of food – from the seed to the plate.

Prepare to get your hands dirty. And make sure you dress for the weather – We’ll be outside, rain or shine!

This is a brand new group for 2021. We think it’s going to be really popular. So make sure you pre-book your place!

Aspley Picnic & Play

If you like picnics as much as we do, you’re going to love Picnic & Play with the Aspley Family Mentors. We will be making some yummy picnic snacks together, and then sitting down for a picnic. After we’ve eaten, we’ll play together and work off all of that extra picnic energy!

We will be at different places in the Aspley and Bells Lane area. You can come to all of the sessions or just pick the one closest to you.

• Monday 2nd August - 11.30am -1pm at Bells Lane Community Centre

• Tuesday 10th August - 11.30am -1pm at Phoenix Play Centre

• Wednesday 18th August - 11.30am -1pm at Aspley Children’s Centre

Aspley Pop-Up Play

Join the Aspley Family Mentors for fun and games in the park! Pop-Up Play is a great chance to meet new people, or catch up with friends that you haven’t seen in a little while.

Feel free to bring a picnic if you like!

These sessions will be outdoors. We hope the sun will be shining. Make sure you dress for the weather - bring sunscreen and a hat if it is hot.

We will be at different parks in the Aspley and Bells Lane area. You can come to all of the sessions or just pick the one closest to you.

• Thursday 12th August - 12-3pm at King George Playing Fields. 

• Tuesday 17th August - 12-3pm at Stockhill Park.

• Monday 23rd August - 12-3pm at Woodfield Park.
