In September 2021, SSBC responded to a call for written evidence to the Work and Pensions Committee 'Children in Poverty:  No Recourse to Public Funds'.

This was the second part of the inquiry into children in poverty.  The first part focused on how child poverty is measured.

As a condition of their visas, most categories of migrants to the UK have no recourse to public funds (NRPF), this means that they, and their children, are not eligible for most benefits.
